Polar's maximalist expression gives the works strength as sculptural interior objects where the function as a candle lantern is subordinate. The production technology enables the glass mass to flow out at the bottom and create a uniqueness in each object. When the work is moved around the room, another dimension is added by creating an optical illusion.

Polars maximalistiska uttryck ger verken styrka som skulpturala inredningsobjekt där funktionen som ljuslykta är underordnad. Produktionstekniken möjliggör att glasmassan flyter ut nertill och skapar en unikitet i varje objekt. När verket förflyttas runt i rummet tillförs ännu en dimension genom att det uppstår en optisk illusion.
